Join the ESN Neonatal Pulmonology Workshop in Corfu, Greece

Calling all early‑career neonatal researchers! From 7th to 9th May 2026 in Corfu, Greece, the ESN Research Workshop on Neonatal Pulmonology offers a three‑day experience for neonatologists, research fellows, allied health professionals, and scientists passionate about neonatal lung health.

This workshop, organised by the ESPR Pulmonology & Early Career Investigators Sections, brings together emerging investigators with leading European experts in the field of Neonatal Pulmonology.

Highlights include:

  • Lectures on current research in neonatal respiratory disease by leading experts like Prof. Theodore Dassios, Prof. Charles Roehr et al.
  • A full day of simulation workshops in small groups
  • Research forum to pitch your own ideas and receive feedback
  • Networking dinner with peers and senior mentors from across Europe

Sign up for the ESN Pre-congress Courses & Workshops at CEPAS 2026

We are delighted to announce four ESN hands-on courses taking place on the pre-congress day, Wednesday, 28 October, just before the opening of the first Congress of European Academic Paediatric Societies (CEPAS):

  • Non-invasive Mechanical Ventilation
  • Neonatal and Paediatric Vascular Access
  • Neonatal Cranial Ultrasound (CUS)
  • Neonatologist Performed Echocardiography (NPE)

In addition, we are offering a neonatal procedural skills training workshop, held four times throughout the congress to give you flexibility in attending.

Reminder: You can still submit your abstract to CEPAS 2026. The deadline for abstract submission is 1 April.

Apply now for NOTE Module 'Neonatal Haemodynamics'

The Neonatal Online Training & Education (NOTE) Faculty of the ESN, in collaboration with the University of Southampton (UoS), present their next online module on Neonatal Haemodynamics, starting on the 5th of May. If you are interested in joining, please contact the NOTE Programme Lead, Jasmin Heath, via J.King@soton.ac.uk.

The module can either be completed as part of the MSc programme, or as Continuing Professional Development option, in which case you will receive a certificate of attendance after completing the module.
